About the role:

e-therapeutics is creating the new role of Portfolio Analyst role to support its ambitious growth trajectory and plans. Working closely with the Head of Translational Medicine, you will be responsible for contributing to target selection and prioritization efforts, applying your integrated knowledge of biological, commercial, and competitive clinical landscape to develop and continuously evaluate target product profiles within a dynamic therapeutic landscape.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to indication and target selection and prioritisation efforts
  • Map targets to disease pathophysiology to guide indication selection and target patient population
  • Drive deep-dive analyses to inform pipeline recommendations
  • Integrate competitive, commercial, biological and clinical aspects and develop target product profiles
  • Propose new ideas and work closely with discovery and BD&CI team members
  • Continuously carry out analyses to maintain an up-to-date view on working assumptions and adjust plans if needed
  • Prepare adhoc materials to enable data-driven decision making at senior leadership forums
  • Map and identify KOLs of interest and potential collaborators
  • Help form a view of the most representative disease models and required data packages
  • Keep up to date with the gene silencing field
  • Contribute to the drafting of key internal documents (e.g. candidate selection document, integrated development plan)

 

Profile:

  • Life sciences background PhD and/or MD or equivalent research experience
  • Cardiovascular, metabolic disease area knowledge
  • Ability to critically evaluate scientific literature
  • Ability to think strategically and extract key take away messages
  • Biopharmaceutical sector knowledge
  • Commercial acumen
  • Hepatocyte biology knowledge would be an advantage
  • Therapeutic RNA / nucleic acid platform experience would be a bonus
  • Outstanding attention to detail
  • Ability to deliver under pressure and meet tight deadlines
